This initiative aims to onboard more than 300 properties, create over 5,000 job opportunities, and offer financial assistance, mentorship, and access to OYO’s vast network. The program focuses on fostering sustainable tourism development in Goa while boosting the local hospitality sector.
Goa’s Tourism Minister, Shri Rohan A Khaunte, unveiled OYO’s Accelerator Program, a transformative initiative designed to help small-scale and first-generation hoteliers grow their businesses across the state. This program not only focuses on business expansion but also aims to create employment opportunities and promote sustainable tourism in Goa. The launch event, held in Panaji, saw Minister Khaunte officially introduce the program in collaboration with the Goa Tourism Department.
During the ceremony, he awarded cheques totaling INR 25 lakhs to five selected beneficiaries, including hoteliers from Panjim, Calangute, and Madgaon, marking a significant step toward empowering the local hospitality industry.
