Eden Boys' School is celebrating the outstanding accomplishments of its Year 11 pupils as they receiveD their GCSE results. Muhammad Taha Khan is one of several pupils who made outstanding progress this year. He was delighted to receive an exceptional 12 GCSEs which included ten subjects at grade 9.

The school says Muhammad Taha has consistently been a top set pupil in his five years at the school and is taking his hard working and dedicated attitude with him as he moves to Runshaw College to study maths, further maths, chemistry and physics. Muhammad Taha, who aspires to begin a career in engineering, said: “I am relieved and very happy with my results and would like to thank all my teachers for inspiring me to push on to be my best. Also, thanks to my classmates and family who always pushed me to do more.

” Another high achiever was Rayhaan Ghogha who also earned ten GCSEs at grade 9. Rayhaan’s next steps will take him to The Sixth Form Bolton where he will study A-levels in computer science, maths and physics as he looks to embark on a career in the field of computer science. Rayhaan said: “At the start of the day I was very nervous but once I opened the envelope, I was happy with my results.
