Outlander season 7 part 2 trailer on STARZ Outlander fans have pointed out a huge plot hole in the series as a storyline involving one of Claire Fraser’s (played by Caitriona Balfe) primary antagonists has apparently never been mentioned again. Back in season three, Claire faces off against Geillis Duncan (Lotte Verbeek), a fellow time-traveller who wants to enact the Fraser prophecy which states a Scottish king will eventually wear the crown. She sets her sights on Claire’s daughter Brianna (Sophie Skelton), who was born 200 years after she was conceived thanks to her mother’s century-hopping, but thankfully fails in her quest.
Geillis was killed at the end of season three, but some viewers of the popular Starz drama are confused as to why the prophecy hasn’t been brought up again.
