Outlander’s Catriona Balfe discusses parenting during filming Outlander star Caitriona Balfe has been delving into the art world and opened up about her own struggles as an up-and-coming actress. The Claire Fraser star has teamed up with SWG3 in Glasgow to help promote and support young artists. Her alcohol brand Forget Me Not gin is sponsoring up-and-coming artist Amanda Seibæk, who was joined by Caitriona in her studio to discuss the struggles of starting out in the creative industry.

“When I was a struggling actor and looking around at a lot of my friends in the arts, who were either musicians or fine artists, or things like that,” she recalled. “Everybody was in that struggle. So that’s why it was so important to me to do this initiative.
