Shame then about the traffic, which was plentiful and surprisingly slow, though it did afford more time to enjoy the scenery. It was easy to see they do tree-lined avenues well in Tasmania, and vividly green, stone-littered fields. The east coast affords spectacular views across to islands and peninsulas, including Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay .
