After splashing out more than £5k on a five-star holiday , a family were struck down by sickness and diarrhoea - along with multiple other holidaymakers. Bunty Shah, 50, and his wife Panna, 46, travelled to the TUI Blue Manar in Hammamet, Tunisia on July 5 for a two week holiday. The family, alongside their daughter Jasmine, 12, and son Dylan, 19, all fell ill during and just after the supposed luxury trip.

Bunty - who has the lifelong digestive condition Crohn's disease - and Panna continue to suffer with symptoms including diarrhoea more than two weeks after returning home from their holiday. Specialist international serious injury lawyers at Irwin Mitchell say they have been contacted by "a growing number" of people who fell ill at the hotel, including at least 12 tourists. All the holidaymakers involved had booked their trips through popular tour operator TUI.

" She continued: "We've since see social media rumours regarding the hotel and that other guests have also reported falling ill so you wonder how man.
