Leave the kids at home and grab your girl gang for an adult-friendly getaway to sunny Orlando. While known as a family-friendly destination, Visit Orlando reports that more than half of the city’s annual visitors are adults travelling without kids. Away from the bustle of the city’s theme parks is the perfect tranquil space to rest your head, so we checked into our vacation home at Evermore Resort .

This new property features an array of accommodation options, including villas by the golf course to suite-style rooms at The Flats, luxury hotel rooms at the on-site Hilton Conrad hotel, and large vacation homes, perfect for groups. Boasting nine bedrooms, a movie theatre, pool, and full kitchen, our home away from home was spacious enough that seven people could comfortably kick back and relax. While the average stay in Orlando is about eight days, we packed a ton into our five-day itinerary, starting with a whirlwind VIP Tour Experience at Universal Studios.

Chock full of features like the ability to skip the line on busy rides, a buffet breakfast, and a personal tour guide, the VIP Experience is an elevated way to enjoy a day at the park. From cruising through the lines at Harry Potter, to a discount at the merch booths, and behind-the-scenes experiences with our fab guide Kelly, it’s well worth the splurge if you’re only spending one day at Universal. Whether you’re a thrillseeker or casual park fan, there are plenty of rides and attractions for everyone — we part.
