The organsers of Ipada Initiative and Ipada Carnival 2024 have disclosed that they’ve entered into partnership with the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF) on tree planting, which is one of the activities of the twin project. According to Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye, who is the Founder of Ipada Initiative and Ipada Carnival 2024, “This partnership represents more than just an environmental effort; it is a powerful statement of our commitment to sustainable development and the promotion of eco-tourism across Nigeria and the entire African continent. “Eco-tourism is a growing sector that not only preserves the natural beauty of our landscapes but also provides meaningful experiences for visitors.

By planting trees, we are not just replenishing the earth; we are creating a future where our rich biodiversity can thrive. ‘‘This initiative will enhance the ecological value of our tourist sites, making them even more attractive to both local and international visitors. Imagine a Nigeria and Africa where every state, every nation of Africa, is a sanctuary of green spaces, drawing tourists to experience the harmony between nature and culture.

This is the vision we are striving to realise. Akinboboye, who is also the Founder and President of La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort, further noted, “Through this initiative, we aim to plant trees in every state across Nigeria, and different African nations, fostering a green revolution that will benefit communities, boost tourism.
