Fast-rising St Ann-based singjay Orajahdon has been steadily climbing his way to global stardom since his breakout on the music scene five years ago. Orajahdon, who was greatly influenced by dancehall superstar Masicka, said he started taking his musical journey more seriously when he started listening more of Masicka's music. "Masicka really inspire me so much and mek mi really want fi do music, suh a dat time mi formulate the love for it the real way," Orajahdon told THE STAR .

He added that in high school, though he loved music, he never truly saw it as a career. "But from mi start listen to Masicka mainly, him inspire me and mek mi start deal wid [music] certain way, and mek mi know seh mi can dweet - suh from then and there a greatness," said the artiste, whose birth name is Kamari Wollaston. However, Orajahdon said he plans to be his own brand, with his own style and flow.

"Mi a go continue doing standout stuff and nuh badda follow nobody, and just gwaan duh mi own thing like mi been a duh. Mi naah seh mi betta dan nobody, but mi have it to - mi bad, too, [wid] whole heap a flavour," the deejay confidently stated. He said that his musical style and message, which stem from his personal experiences and emotions, as well as his ability to be "a very good performer", will also see him being a cut above the rest within the industry.

With his musical versatility and "hard work", he further shared how he plans to achieve global stardom. "A just whole heap more hard work like .
