Savoy Cinemas, who have resurrected the old Empire venue on Princes Gate Shopping Park on Richmond Road have said that film lovers won't have long to wait after revealing an opening date of September 27. The cinema's reopening coincides with the release of some of the year’s most anticipated movies including the Joker sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux, starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, along with Transformers One, The Wild Robot and Venom: The Last Dance - all set to hit the screen in October.
