After months of anticipation, the brand will open its 21st Scottish store at Glasgow Fort on Thursday, December 5. Primark has recruited 200 new members of staff for the Glasgow Fort store, and a live DJ will be on hand to celebrate with staff and shoppers on the big opening day. Primark area manager for Scotland West & Cumbria, Gavin O’Reilly, said: “We’re looking forward to opening in just a few weeks’ time at Glasgow Fort, particularly the moment when our first customers will step through our doors. "The enthusiasm is already building across the team – and it’s not just because it’s Christmas shopping season.
