A social media star has sent the web into meltdown after using her own poo as a face mask. Talk about a crappy beauty regime, but influencer Débora Peixoto claims she's found the secret to flawless skin, and it involves smearing faeces across her face. In that's left jaws on floors and faces in palms, she recorded herself applying the unconventional treatment in an attempt to solve her skincare woes.

Clamping a clothes peg to her nose to escape the stench, she let the DIY face pack sit for 10 minutes hoping for a miracle. The grand reveal had Débora posing with what she described as 'glowing' skin to the camera. Post-poo-pampering, she said: "I saw research about it and decided to try it.

"It can prevent ageing. It’s the craziest thing I’ve done in my life. But it’s worked for me and my skin has stopped flaking!" Unsurprisingly, this soon racked up hundreds of baffled comments, with many users slamming her 'hack' as 'diabolical' and 'disgusting'.
