Muhammad Ali’s grandson Biaggio Ali Walsh scored a statement knockout of Brian Stapleton on Friday night. After going 6-1 as an amateur, Ali Walsh has now started his professional MMA career with the PFL. Ali Walsh won his professional debut, beating Emanuel Palacio at the PFL vs Bellator event in February in Saudi Arabia.

On Friday, he stepped up for his second bout and won by emphatic knockout. His opponent Stapleton was the unfortunate victim. The fight was over in the very first round as Ali Walsh ended it with a single punch.

It was a swift counter right hand which did the damage, putting Stapleton on the canvas. Ali Walsh did land a couple of follow-up strikes on his downed opponent, but these were unnecessary and the referee quickly intervened. The fight drew a divided reaction on social media.

One fan wrote: "Beautiful knockout." While a second added: "Perfect cross counter." A third said: "The hand runs in the family.

" And a fourth wrote: "Biaggio Ali Walsh with a beautiful one hitta quitta KO that would make his Grandfather Muhammad Ali proud" However, others weren't happy with the level of opposition Ali Walsh had been matched up against. Stapleton was making his debut after going 4-4 in the amateurs. One comment read: "How did that dude crumble that easily?" A second said: "The guy he fought delivered my refrigerator yesterday.

" A third was simply: "Can crushing at its finest." And a fourth concluded: "Dude worked at Walmart.".
