Phil Bianchi, founder of The Gift of Oil, recommends five anti-ageing foods, starting with extra-virgin olive oil. He states: "Known for its health benefits, such as reducing bad cholesterol, stroke and high blood pressure, Extra Virgin Olive Oil also has plenty of anti-ageing benefits too.

In fact, the monounsaturated fats in olive oil have been shown to help reduce the skin ageing, as it has strong inflammatory effects." Phil also suggests consuming green tea, dark chocolate, pomegranates, and watermelon, citing their anti-ageing properties. He explains: "Green tea has lots of benefits, and is one of the most popular drinks for anti-aging.

It contains lots of Vitamin B2, which helps to tighten the appearance of the skin. As well as Vitamin B2, it also contains lots of antioxidants that are a preventative for any fine lines or wrinkles." Additionally, Phil notes that dark chocolate can help lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels, reduce inflammation, and improve blood flow.
