The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State on Sunday said the incumbent Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa will will enjoy an easy victory at the November 16 governorship election in the state. The party in a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary, Alex Kalejaye claimed that the unprecedented landslide victory would be aided by the alleged absence of viable opposition party in the state, courtesy of the political giants that recently defected to the ruling party from what it called “the disabled People’s Democratic Party (PDP).” The party said, “the struggling main opposition party should have done all it takes to stop the defection of the experienced political players, including former governor, former federal lawmakers, former speaker of the House of Assembly, among others.
