The Sultanate of Oman, renowned for its stunning landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and luxury hospitality, is making significant strides to bolster its tourism sector by attracting more Indian tourists. The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism of Oman has launched a strategic initiative, conducting a series of promotional seminars in four major Indian cities: New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bangalore.

These seminars are designed to showcase the unique tourist experiences that Oman offers, positioning it as a top destination for Indian travelers. His Excellency Azzan bin Qasim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Tourism, highlighted the importance of India as a key source market for tourism. The initiative comes on the heels of a successful year in 2023, during which over 600,000 Indian tourists visited Oman.

With expectations for this number to rise in 2024, these promotional efforts aim to further strengthen Oman’s presence in the Indian market. The promotional seminars commenced with a mobile seminar in New Delhi, the capital of India, and will continue across Mumbai, Chennai, and Bangalore. Each seminar is meticulously planned to introduce Oman’s picturesque landscape.
