On Friday, Australia’s Raygun found herself in a social media storm after her performance left fans questioning whether breakdancing should be an Olympic sport.

The 36-year-old went viral after awkwardly squirming across the dancefloor with a chaotic routine which ended without a single score from the judges. As the contest continued with appearances from athletes hailing from the USA , Japan , Lituania and China , viewers revealed they were too “cringed” to continue watching. ” (sic) Taking to X, @TheTweetingElf admitted: “I had to stop watching the break dancing. It was rubbish.” @RC2DA echoed: “I literally watched about 20 seconds of Olympic break-dancing and I turned off the tele.
