Bolton's oldest brewery is toasted a new partnership with Bolton Wanderers FC. Bank Top Brewery, based in Astley Bridge, will provide beers to the fan zone at the Toughsheet Community Stadium. The brewer, which is the oldest in Bolton, will celebrate its 30th anniversary next year.

It provides beers to pubs across the North West, as well as at its own public houses in Horwich , Astley Bridge and Accrington. To mark the occasion, they are joining forces with the Whites to give its fans some different flavours. Ben Sweeney, head brewer at Bank Top , said: "It's for the upcoming season, with us being 30 years old next year we were approached by Wanderers to provide ales.

"They were keen to have us in the fanzone. "We teased it on social media and we've had positive feedback. Hopefully it will get us out to a lot of people.
