Dubbed a 'music extravaganza', Old City Sounds is returning to Bristol this bank holiday weekend for a day of music , entertainment and family fun. On Saturday, August 24, some of the city centre 's most popular venues will play host to a number of activities, entertainment and live music. It comes following the success of the inaugural event in 2023 and this free-to-attend festival will feature a mix of genres - from jazz and blues, to acoustic and funk.

Vicky Lee, director of Bristol City Centre BID , said: “ Old City Sounds is the perfect way to bring music, culture and family together in one big free day party in one of the city’s oldest and most beautiful areas.
