SARATOGA SPRINGS — Spa City is gearing up for dual Oktoberfest celebrations this weekend. Bratwurst, perogies and craft beer are all on the menu for the Saratoga Oktoberfest Block Party on Saturday. Hosted by Druthers Brewing Company and Franklin Square Market, the block party runs from noon to 5 p.

m. outside Saratoga Central Catholic School on Broadway. There’ll be craft beers from Druthers, custom steins and live music from Radio Junkies.

German mac and cheese, with spaetzle, cheese sauce and a caramelized onion crumb topping, is also on the docket. Supplied by Franklin Square Market, the bratwurst includes bacon, caraway sautéed cabbage on a crusty roll, with dijon and stone-ground mustard. General admission is $25 and includes entry, a custom Saratoga Oktoberfest stein and a free drink.

com . Another Spa City brewery is bringing back its Oktoberfest on Saturday, with a day of beer, games and live music. Whitman Brewing will offer specialty 32-ounce steins.
