August's PS Plus Essential games are available to download now, and subscribers are in for a nostalgic treat when they check their email inboxes. You may recall that PlayStation used to send out individual email receipts for every single PS Plus title that you added to your library from the PS Store. Well, thankfully, the company stopped doing this last year, and all was right with the world.

But as pointed out by PlayStation LifeStyle — and verified by ourselves — the dreaded PS Plus email spam is back. Once again, we're being sent email receipts for each game, which can give you one hell of a shock. After all, nothing screams "oh my god, I've been hacked!" quite like seeing three different emails that are all titled "Thank You For Your Purchase".

Of course, this has to go down as an undeniable first-world problem, but come on Sony, why are you subjecting us to this all over again? It could just be some kind of bug, or maybe the emails shouldn't have stopped in the first place. Who knows! All PS5, PS4 games lists for PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium Plus or minus? Are you delighted to be on the receiving end of these emails again? Take a deep breath before opening your inbox in the comments section below. [source playstationlifestyle.
