Office Building Converts First Floor Space Into Java Joint

The L.A. City Planning Commission just approved a new coffee spot at under the name .

The relatively small java joint will occupy 560 square-feet. Currently, the space is being used as offices. MTOM Coffee is owned by , who also owns MTOM Tours, an international shipping company and travel agency.

MTOM Tours is headquartered in the same office building as the planned cafe. Public records also show plans to build a beauty parlor on the first floor of the building as well. Not much else is known about MTOM Coffee at this time.
