Oasis have issued a statement to fans as they worry they won't get pre-sale access. The Britpop band announced last night that there is a pre-sale for their upcoming UK and Ireland tour. Fans had to sign up to be in with a chance of gaining early access yet many haven't received confirmation emails.

Oasis confirmed they will be going on tour next year, with 14 dates across the UK and Ireland already penciled in. Fans had feared there would be no pre-sale access as it wasn't confirmed until Tuesday evening. Read our Oasis reunion tour live blog for all the latest news around their 2025 shows.

In a message to fans, Oasis said: "We are aware that many of you are still waiting on a confirmation email. Rest assured they are on their way, as we process an unprecedented volume of entries. Everyone who has filled out the ballot form by 7pm BST today, Wednesday 28th August, will receive an email where they can confirm their entry in the ballot.

" Oasis are giving fans a chance to enter a pre-sale ballot, which is open for just 24 hours. It will close at 7pm on Wednesday and gives fans hope of securing tickets. However, along with providing contact details fans also have to answer a question correctly.

They are asked: "Who was the drummer in the initial Oasis line up?" Multiple choice answers given are: Chris Sharrock, Tony McCarroll and Alan White. The correct answer is Tony McCarroll, who was in the band up until his exit in 1995. Fans are also asked how many times they have seen Oasi.
