Oasis have issued a new statement after fans were left confused about the ticket ballot for their upcoming reunion tour. Oasis have delivered a significant update regarding their highly-anticipated reunion tour, following confusion from fans over the pre-sale ballot as many have been left in the dark. Demand for tickets to Oasis's reunion tour has been soaring as fans clamber to secure a chance to see the Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, live on stage once more.

However, there was confusion and concern among thousands who entered the pre-sale ballot but didn't receive confirmation emails about whether they were in with a chance of getting tickets . The band had introduced a unique lottery system to fairly distribute pre-sale codes prior to this Saturday's general ticket sale, hinting at a possible ticket price surcharge owing to the immense demand, reports the Mirror . Yet, many supporters took to social media to express frustration over missing confirmation emails following their ballot entry, which also included a quiz with questions such as the number of times they'd seen Oasis live and the name of the original drummer.

In response, Oasis released a statement announcing: "Due to a last minute surge in pre-sale ballot entries, a number of confirmation emails are still being processed and sent out. The deadline to confirm your entry has now been extended to 10am BST tomorrow morning (Friday 30th August). If successful in the ballot, you will be contacted tomorrow by 5pm BS.
