Some productions have to endure a number of explosions, and/or death-defying stunts. But in the case of David Gordon Green family comedy Nutcrackers starring Ben Stiller, something more noxious was going on which could have spurred the interest of the health department. Recalls young Ulysses Janson, one of the four Janson brothers on who David Gordon Green based the movie, “It was a really emotional scene, Ben (Stiller) was suppose to tell a bedtime story to these two [pointing to brothers Atlas and Arlo].

Homer was in the closet...

All of a sudden, there was long peeesssh . We didn’t know what it was. It was Atas farting for 20-seconds straght.

” “A 20-second fart” Stiller verified. “We did set out to make an artsy fartsy films, we just put fartsy in it,” Green told us at the Deadline TIFF studio. As you can see, the Janson brothers aren’t like Hanson: They don’t sing song.

Rather they’re pranksters who live and work on their parent’s Ohio farm. In the movie, they portray orphans whose oversee is forced upon their uncle, played by Stiller, a Chicago real estate executive who doesn’t have time for their hijinks which include leaving a snake in the toilet, doing donuts with his Porsche, and driving a golf cart in a rich neighbor’s pool among other bad behavior. However, the one great talent the boys have — they’re exceptional ballet dancers.

Stiller has the boys stage their own version of The Nutcracker in an effort to lure proper foster parents. Gr.
