Aussies are creatures of habit with their favourite travel spots, new data has revealed. Booking.com's latest search data has given some insight into where everyone is looking to holiday this spring.

And most Aussies are eager to enjoy a tropical getaway in one spot. It dominated the results. Read on to find out where it is.

 The colourful city of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam is proving popular, with interest increasing by 50 per cent. Autumn in London is proving attractive for many, with bookings up ten per cent. Just over the ditch, adventure city Queenstown is a spring hotspot.

The Bali resort town is a popular spring holiday spot. Bangkok is booming, with bookings up by 45 per cent, the research showed. Back to Bali again, and party central Kuta is getting people booking.

The cultural heart of Bali, Ubud is attracting Aussies. Another Bali resort - this time Legian came in at number five in terms of popularity. The city state of Singapore is proving popular, making it at number four.

The Balinese resort of Canggu was the third most popular place to go. While some might have had a Euro Summer, Aussies are sticking closer to home and heading north to Asia for spring, with searches to Tokyo increasing 70 per cent year on year. Most Aussies are eager to enjoy a Balinese tropical getaway, with the resort of Seminyak claiming the number one spot.
