His recent film ‘’Devara’ has clocked unprecedented openings in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. “The action garnered Rs 36 plus crores (rough estimates) collections in the two Telugu states.

“It was one of the biggest openings in Telugu cinema and it has registered a new record,” says a distributor, who claims that the film garnered Rs 13 crore in the Nizam region and Ceded Rs 8 crores, and Andhra region worked around Rs 17 cr plus net collections to establish an enviable day one record in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. “It has made over Rs 38 crore plus (tentative)and it is a new record which is difficult to break in the near future,” he adds. After ‘RRR’ was a worldwide hit, NTR has returned with an action-adventure and his fans are going all out to celebrate the occasion in various parts of Telugu states.

“NTR has again roared in an action role and also showcased his dancing prowess and his dances with Jahnvi received whistles in varied theatres and otherwise it was a full action mode,” points out the distributor. The film has been reportedly traded for Rs 115 crores in two Telugu states and it has a weekend advantage and also riding on advance bookings..
