Aussie influencer and former NRL WAG Phoebe Burgess is gearing up to release a new children’s book that aims to raise awareness of allergic rhinitis—a condition that is misdiagnosed in kids and can start at the age of four. Inspired by her journey as a parent of two children who suffer from allergic rhinitis and hay fever, Phoebe has collaborated with Zyrtec to create Zach and Zoe’s Hide and Sneeze. The new storybook aims to spark conversation between parents and their children on identifying signs and triggers of allergic rhinitis, a condition affecting millions of Australians.

The 36-year-old NSW media personality shares daughter Poppy, seven, and son Billy, five, with her ex-Rabbitohs star husband Sam Burgess. The couple split in 2019 after four years of marriage with the rugby star later admitting to cheating on his wife in Melbourne in 2017. As Phoebe continues to navigate her life as a single parent, she is excited to add children’s book author to her lengthy resume.

Shedding light on allergic rhinitis, which both she and her kids suffer from, Phoebe hopes the light-hearted story can help parents understand symptoms. “Unless you’re familiar with the signs of allergic rhinitis or hay fever, it can feel overwhelming seeing your little ones suffer from various symptoms, especially if you don’t know what causes it, or how to treat it,” said Phoebe. “Living on our family property, Poppy and Billy are always running wild outside.

I noticed they would come in.
