NORTHWOOD, North Dakota – Concert-goers can relive the music of their past when the Northwood Performing Arts Council presents “A Night at the Theatre – A Tribute to Queen” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at the Northwood Performing Arts Center.

The concert will feature Jonny James and the Hall of Fames, a Twin Cities band whose shows have been selling out theaters all around the Cities, according to a website. Tickets, $55 plus taxes and fees, are available in advance at www.Northwoodpacnd.

org. All seats are reserved; all sales are final. Tickets will probably be available for purchase at the door too, said Judy Engen, president of the Northwood Performing Arts Council.

Before the performance, the box office in the lobby will open at 6 p.m. and doors to the auditorium open at 7 p.

Proceeds from this event will be used to support future performance events, said Engen, one of nine members on the council, a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to encourage and nurture the arts in its many forms. Music by “Queen” is still popular, she said. “So it’s not only for generations from the past; (children and others) hear this band’s music – such as ‘We Are the Champions’ and ‘We Will Rock You’ – at sporting events ..
