Oasis fans are hopeful the Manchester brothers' long-awaited reunion tour could mean a headline set at Glastonbury. Liam and Noel Gallagher announced they will hit the road in 2025 together to mark the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Definitely Maybe. It will be the duo's first show for 16 years after a bitter feud split the siblings.

In a joint statement this morning, they said: "The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over.

Come see. It will not be televised." They will play four shows in their hometown of Manchester, four in London, as well as another six in Scotland , Wales and Ireland.

It has been reported that the Gallagher brothers will not be performing at Worthy Farm. However, the Somerset festival is scheduled for June 25 to 29, just before the tour stars, so this could change - and their supporters remain positive. One fan took to X (formerly Twitter ) to write: "They 100% are playing it.

The tour is every weekend for seven weeks and the weekend before is Glasto. Defo just waiting for a separate Glasto announcement." While another said: "If people think their first gig back is going to be in Cardiff and not Glasto then you need your head checking.
