HER dance anthem Broken Bones became a global smash hit and now almost 30 years on from the songs release, singer, Simone Denny has hardly aged a day. After a chance meeting with DJ Chris Sheppard, she provided guest vocals for his band, before they agreed to collaborate on on a new dance group- Love Inc. In 1998 they released their debut album, which spawned the chart hits Broken Bones and You are a Superstar. Broken Bones won the Juno Award for Dance Recording ot eh Year at the Juno Awards in 1999.

It also became the first dance music album by Canadian artists ever to receive platinum certification for Canadian sales. The band did not release any further recordings, and broke up after their second less successful album Into the Night . At this point relations between the band founding members Denny and DJ Chris Shepherd had soured over various creative differences.

Denny then began collaborating with Widelife, performing on that band's singles "I Don't Want You" and "All Things (.
