Xara, who plays for Wellington Women in the New Zealand domestic circuit, picked Kohli when asked to name one player she would like to bowl against in men’s cricket.
Xara appeared on a podcast where she opened up on her aspirations to bowl against Kohli and also shared ‘her goal’ of taking an Instagram-worthy picture with the senior India batter. The 22-year-old was asked to name one batter each from men’s and women’s cricket that she would love to bowl against. While she admitted it was difficult for her to pick one name from the women’s game, Xara had no second thoughts about naming Kohli as the one batter she would want to bowl to from the men’s game.
