A new public car park is planned on weekdays in Cleethorpes . More than 40 new public car spaces could be added to the resort during weekdays. An amendment is proposed to a parking order to remove weekday permit restrictions from Cleethorpes Civic Offices car park.

The car park already serves as a public pay and display car park at weekends. The proposed change to weekdays comes as North East Lincolnshire Council have officially put on the market the Civic Offices for £1.5m .

Before the change can happen, however, it will be subject to a consultation, which is legally required. A council document ahead of next Monday's meeting explains the permit restrictions are no longer needed.
