A Mapperley mum has created a nail business specifically for new mums and people with anxiety. Fotini Bihuci is a nail technician and a new mum herself located in Mapperley who is "dedicated to providing a tranquil sanctuary for busy working mums and individuals seeking relief from anxiety." Originally from Greece, Fotini has a background in hospitality in tourism management.
She said: "Through continuous communication with people, especially mums, I realized how much I enjoyed helping others feel comfortable and cared for. "This experience made me rethink my career choices and inspired me to transition into the beauty industry, where I could combine my passion for customer service with a focus on beauty and wellness. It’s been a rewarding shift, allowing me to create a welcoming space that supports the well-being of my clients.
" Fotini worked hard to get her qualification in September 2023 whilst she was pregnant, and earlier this year she launched her business Nails by Fotini B in January. The mum added: "Since then, it has evolved significantly, and I’ve recently rebranded to better reflect our mission and services." The recent rebrand, including a name change to Nuse Beauty, has a strong focus on mums and other people who want a more private experience.
Fotini explained: "I’ve always been passionate about beauty and wellness, and after becoming a mum, I realized how important it is for mothers and individuals dealing with anxiety to have a space where they can relax.
