Jerusalem’s Armon Hanatziv Promenade is one of the most beautiful and popular vantage points in Israel’s capita l overlooking the Old City, the City of David , the Kidron Valley, Mount of Olives, Mount Zion, the Dome of the Rock and Mount Scopus. A 731-meter-long (2,398 feet) zipline will begin operating from this point, leading directly to the Peace Forest, near the City of David's camping area. The new zipline, set to open to the public on Wednesday, breaks the Israeli record for the longest zipline in the country, previously standing at less than 400 meters (1,312 feet).
