A NEW ice cream shop has opened its door in the city's Southside. Peacock's Ice Cream has opened on Battlefield Road today (August 29) serving small batch North American-style ice cream. Made from scratch, the new scoop shop serves signature flavours such as Canadian campfire, cookies & cream and salted caramel.

On the company's website, she said: "I missed the premium ice cream that is available in my native home of Canada but not so much in Scotland: a creamy custard base made from scratch and crammed full of homemade add-ins.
"Peacock's Ice Cream starts with fresh Scottish whole milk, cream, and free range egg yolks with flavours often inspired by my Canadian roots." Peacock's Ice Cream is located at 62 Battlefield Road..
