Wednesday, August 21, 2024 Los Cabos, Mexico – Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, the operator of Primesky FBO and Los Cabos International Airport (MMSD), is set to expand its aviation services with the construction of a new private aircraft hangar. Scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2025, the hangar will span nearly 54,000 square feet and is designed to accommodate business liners, enhancing the airport’s capacity as the sole business aviation service provider in the area. Patricia Silva, the company’s head of business development, highlighted the significance of the $9 million project for both based and transient aircraft.

“This investment is crucial for enhancing our facilities and services, aligning with the high demand for hangar space at MMSD,” Silva explained. “Our aim is to elevate the customer experience across all interactions with the FBO, reinforcing MMSD’s position as a major entry point to the Mexican Riviera.” In addition to the new hangar, last year Primesky expanded its operational scope by introducing ground handling services at Hermosillo International/General Ignacio Pesqueira García Airport in Sonora.

This expansion is part of Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico’s broader strategy to enhance its service offerings across the 12 airports it manages in Mexico and two in Jamaica. The construction of the new hangar is a testament to Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico’s commitment to bolstering its infrastructure and meeting .
