A Grimsby couple with more than 40 years of restaurant experience between them have teamed up to bring a taste of Greece to the area. Melanie and her partner Alex, who is originally from Cyprus, will open a brand-new restaurant, Axios Greek & Mediterranean Kitchen, in Grimsby town centre this Friday. Situated within the former Casper's premises on Victoria Street West, the restaurant has undergone an extensive renovation to transform it into a relaxed and laid-back eatery, complete with a colourful wall mural painted by local artist Lindsey Powells.

"We have over 40 years of experience between us so we thought, 'why not open a restaurant?'. Doing it together will be absolutely brilliant, and we'll be the only Greek and Me.
