Popular dating show First Dates is set to return to our screens sooner than we think. The Channel 4 reality series first aired in 2013 with maitre d'hotel Fred Sireix hoping to match singletons in his restaurant. The format was so popular that we have seen spin-offs First Dates Hotel and Teen First Dates later airing on Channel 4.

Fans of the romantic series will be pleased to hear First Dates will be back at 10pm on Tuesday, August 6. The latest series of First Dates will see a new group of singles searching for love during a blind date at The Botanist Bar and Restaurant in Bath. The previous series saw the show move to the South West after moving from its restaurant locations in London and Manchester.

viewers will hope to see more loved-up couples. After all, Bath is known as the most romantic city in the UK. Along with Fred, bartender Merlin Griffiths and waitress Cici Coleman will return, along with waiting staff including Aoife Smyth, Kofi Yeboah-Mensah, Francesca Martusciello and Jamie McCleave.

The series celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2023, with its production crew eager for First Dates to continue. "First Dates' 10th anniversary felt very special to us, so we really wanted to pull out all the stops to make this a great series for daters and viewers alike," said executive producer Rich Mears. "We wanted to keep all the First Dates' warmth and heart that we all know and love, but it was also a great time to refresh things.

We have a beautiful new restaurant in Bat.
