As part of the changes, an automated boom barrier has been installed to manage fee collection, and vehicles now have an 11-minute window to exit the airport premises without incurring charges.

This has led to complaints from passengers, who argue that the focus seems to be more on collecting parking fees than on addressing the congestion.
