A MASSIVE new luxury attraction is opening in one of the world's major bucket list destinations, offering a whole new world of accommodation to the super wealthy. By 2026, the Zamani Islands in the Maldives will be home to three new resorts, along with the country's first dedicated superyacht marina. The aim of the resorts is to attract "more high-net-worth individuals and yachting enthusiasts to the region" - with hopes they will be keen to make use of the new five-star development.

The high-end accommodation is being built in almost 500 hectares of natural lagoon, found in the South Malé Atoll. Though that may sound remote, it's only around 21 miles from the capital city, Malé, and its airport, meaning it may well appeal to visitors, particularly as they will be given lifelong berthing at the marina. As if that isn't attractive enough, it will also have the country's largest underwater restaurant, which will be one of 28 different dining venues.
