An application has been submitted for a new restaurant in Bolton town centre. The new venue, which would be called Lunapark, is proposed for Bradshawgate . Staff at a local business say that works have been ongoing at the premises over the "last two weeks".
The shopfront has a new appearance, with circus-style artwork and font spelling "Lunapark". The word "Circus" can also be seen written inside. On Friday, October 4, a licensing request for the premises was submitted to Bolton Council.
Works have been taking place at the building (Image: Newsquest) The applicant, Lunapark Limited, has applied for a license for indoor recorded music , indoor late night refreshment, which means the supply of hot food and drink, and supply of alcohol on the premises. The times for these licenses would be from 2pm to 10.30pm on Monday to Wednesday, from 2pm to 11.
