The 76ers and Nets potentially could have interest in Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga , should Kuminga become available in trade talks, per NBA insider Jake Fischer . “The Sixers have definitely indicated around the league and behind the scenes that they are willing to pay to add in another piece,” Fischer relayed. “They are willing to spend their draft capital.

” Philadelphia may be willing to go into the luxury tax to increase its championship odds. Right now, though, there isn’t reason to believe the Warriors want to part with Kuminga — other than, perhaps, the sides failed to agree to a contract extension. Meanwhile, the Nets certainly have the draft capital, as well as several intriguing pieces, should they truly have an interest.

Or, they could just sign him outright in free agency. Per Fischer: “There’s already been rumblings of Brooklyn potentially willing to throw a big offer sheet at Jonathan Kuminga.” The Nets should have the salary-cap space to make a run at just about anyone, actually.

All of that said, Golden State is still very open to keeping Kuminga. In fact, that seems to be the preference as the franchise will soon move out of the Stephen Curry and Draymond Green run and into another era. Younger players such as Kuminga, you’d think, would be a part of that.

Kuminga put up 16.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.

2 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.5 blocks per game for the Warriors last season while shooting 52.
