NETFLIX has reportedly decided to shelve a documentary about the mysterious disappearance of a man almost three decades ago. The decision has left the missing man's family feeling frustrated after years of hoping for a breakthrough in the case. The documentary, called Vampires of Gem City, was set to explore the 1994 disappearance of George Phillip Gall.

Phil - as he was known to friends and family - was last seen after getting off a bus in Dayton, Ohio. He vanished shortly after he was spotted walking toward a goth-themed nightclub called Asylum. Phil's fate remains a mystery to this day.

But in 2008 a retired police lieutenant came forward with shocking claims that reopened the investigation. David Williams, a nationally recognized expert on the occult and gangs, said he had visited the nightclub undercover and was told by a bartender that Phil had been involved in an occult ritual.

According to David, Phil was beheaded and his head was later sold as a relic to occultists. Most read in Streaming David's claims painted a chilling picture of the Asylum nightclub, describing it as attracting a gothic, vampire-like crowd. This led to speculation that Dayton was home to one of the largest vampire covens in the US.
