The musician will be performing at this year's edition of Farm Aid Neil Young & Crazy Horse have announced that they will be returning to the stage following the unexpected cancellation of their tour. Last month, Young and the band took to his Neil Young Archives website to announce the cancellation of their remaining shows . The blog post shared revealed that a couple of band members fell ill following their gig at Detroit’s Pine Knob and would have to take “a big unplanned break.

” Now, the ‘Rockin’ In The Free World’ singer has shared that he will be returning to the stage this September. Young is set to perform at this year’s edition of Farm Aid at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, New York on September 21. General ticket sales will commence on Friday (July 26). Visit here to purchase tickets . The line-up shows that Young is not listed to perform with Crazy Horse which alludes that the previous tour cancellations may have been related to the band and not him.

Other acts set to perform at Farm Aid include Willie Nelson – who recently announced his return to the stage following his absence on tour due to an unspecified illness – John Mellencamp , Dave Matthews , Lukas Nelson with the Travelin’ McCourys, Charley Crockett , Joy Oladokun, Southern Avenue, Cassandra Lewis, Jesse Welles and Nathaniel Rateliff and the Nightsweats.
