TOURISTS on the North Coast 500 have been blasted after a resident filled a bag picking up their litter from the beach. They decided to embark on the rubbish raid after the beach bins were overflowing. They also had space in their recycling bin, which was being emptied the next day. When they arrived at the beach, they quickly filled a shopping bag with booze cans and wrappers which had been discarded by selfish visitors.

"I took 24 cans, an empty cardboard Stella box, one plastic and one glass bottle out of the top of it - my own recycling bi.
