Within 24 hours of hitting the real estate market, a gorgeous custom-built luxury home on the Sacramento River owned by an NBA player has found a buyer. Point guard Cory Joseph, who played for the Sacramento Kings from 2019 to 2021, listed the residence for $1.5 million on July 15.

Joseph, who has also played for the Golden State Warriors, signed this year with the Orlando Magic. In 2014, he won an NBA championship with the San Antonio Spurs. An offer on the waterfront residence has been accepted and is pending, according to listing agent Matthew Hindy, who represents several Kings players and staff.

Hindy, a Realtor with Nick Sadek Sotheby’s International Realty, said the home comes fully furnished right down to the televisions, beds, cutlery and glasses. The in The Rivers community in West Sacramento spans 3,670 square feet. There’s also a one-bedroom, one-bathroom casita on the quarter-acre lot.

“It’s a really beautiful home,” Hindy said. “It has a nice design, nice charm.” Hindy didn’t identify the potential buyer, but said he’s a Sacramento-based musician who is interested in using the casita as a music studio “so it kind of catered to exactly what he needed.
