Share to Facebook Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Adam Ferguson, Cousin sisters Adam Ferguson Four photographers have been shortlisted from 55 for the Taylor Wessing Photo Portrait Prize 2024, the prestigious annual photography award organised by the National Portrait Gallery, London. The works by the shortlisted artists were chosen from 4,847 submissions entered by 1713 photographers from 50 countries. Selected by a panel of judges, the four shortlisted photographers are: Adam Ferguson; Tjitske Sluis; Jesse Navarre Vos and Steph Wilson.

The first prize winner of the competition will receive £15,000, second prize will receive £3000 and both third prize winners will receive £2000. A commission to the value of £8,000 will be awarded to one of the shortlisted photographers.

The photographer chosen for the commission will create an artwork that will form part of the world’s largest collection of portraiture at the National Portrait Gallery. Serena Brown, winner of the inaugural commission prize in 2023, will unveil her new portrait for the Collection at this year’s award ceremony in November.
