A previous series producer of the show saw her on the rostrum in Glasgow and decided she liked her style. Natasha shared: "I'm glad that she did and owe her a lot - I doubt that I'd be here otherwise.

" Her plan was always to follow in her parents' footsteps and open a restaurant. She added: "If I'm honest, I'm not ruling it out as a sideline..

.there's nothing quite like catering to keep you on your toes." Her father is the artist Philip Raskin , who was a restaurant proprietor for 20 years before becoming a full-time artist.

Natasha did follow in her father's footsteps as she specialises in Scottish contemporary art. The 38-year-old was born in Glasgow and she continues to live there with her husband Joe Sharp and their daughter Jean. She is the middle of three children in a family of art lovers and collectors, having at least one sister.
