Prayagraj: Tourists visiting Prayagraj during the Maha Kumbh 2025 will have the opportunity to explore the captivating Nakshatra Vatika and the sacred Dwadash Jyotirlinga. The govt has sanctioned Rs 4.45 crore for the proposed Nakshatra Vatika in Bhardwaj Ashram , while approximately Rs 1.

89 crore has been allocated for the Dwadash Jyotirlinga in Minto Park. The Bhardwaj Ashram corridor, currently under construction for the Maha Kumbh, will house the Nakshatra Vatika on around 7,000 square feet. This garden will provide information about all 27 constellations and the nine planets.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to witness statues of the nine planets and gain insights into their astrological and astronomical significance and their profound impact on our lives. The Maha Kumbh administration had requested a total budget of Rs 4.87 crore for this Nakshatra Vatika, of which around Rs 4.

45 crore has been approved, and an initial instalment of Rs 2.22 crore has been disbursed. Meanwhile, out of the proposed budget of Rs 2.

2 crore for the Dwadash Jyotirling in Minto Park, financial approval of around Rs 1.90 crore has been granted, with the first instalment of Rs 94.75 lakh already released.
